As andrew said Debian is 100% free by default, but recommends non-free  
software and Iceweasel recommends non-free addons from Mozilla page.

The same with Fedora. Fedora is free and recommends only free software but  
has non-free firmware by default on Linux. You can install Linux-libre and  
remove all the non-free firmwares but has the Firefox problem with non-free  
addons too.
