Make is a separate program. If you don't have it, you can install the package  
suggested by jxself.

Also, please note that we don't call Trisquel "Linux" because linux is just a  
kernel not an OS. We call "Linux" GNU/Linux. Trisquel is just one of  
GNU/Linux distributions (which uses a 100% free as in freedom version of  
linux called linux-libre, by the way).
