The same investigation that Trisquel developers do to suggest the software Trisquel distributes. (The "belittlement" argument is nonsense. Everyone here that recommends some link makes it clear to people that it might not be free and to investigate. The links on that post didn't implying they were free software for newcommers which is not absolutely the intent of this list.
