You might probably have interest in the content of this file
~/.local/share/recently-used.xbelwhich is used to store a list of the most recently used files. GTK applications use it to build recents histories lists.
You might as well add 'rm -rf ~/.local/share/recently-used.xbel' to the "startup programs".
