$ sudo apt-get remove --purge x11-common
You can switch to a terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F1 (or F2 or F3 or ... or F6).
After logging in, you can fix your problem. To remove all graphical
applications, I would try to remove the "x11-common" package (and all
packages that depend on it):
