I took a picture of the output without the quiet splash for 3.2.0-57, and it is attached. I can see part of the problem—it's prompting me for input! You should never do that in programming; raise an error and let the calling code handle it. But even worse, when I press Enter or even enter a path name, nothing happens.
Installing the new kernel didn't work. And I can't even edit its boot
options; if I press "e" it simply asks for a username and password, and then
returns to the main screen.
