Well, i figured it out. I had to add, gnome-session-classic to look like this line,
sessions gnome-session-classic,default,startxfce4,openbox,ion3,... on the /etc/slim.conf file. That was enough to start the trisquel-gnome session with slim instead of GDM. Thanks anyway, see you around!
