[Trisquel-users] Updating the kernel

I am noticing that the kernel on trisquel is a bit outdated, does anyone know  
how to update to the latest version while compiling from source? I believe  
this is the list of kernels we have out there:

if anyone could help me get a newer kernel installed I would be very grateful  
and hopefully it would benefit the community as well
