They recommend Trisquel if you're "committed to freedom in your computing", but they don't really explain why you should be "committed to freedom" so it comes off as looking like a crippled, plainer-looking version of Ubuntu.
They really like Ubuntu there, apparently. They don't have enough good things
to say about it (it looks nice, it looks really nice, did we mention it looks
nice, etc). Trisquel is mentioned at the very bottom of the page, as usual
with the constant "worse hardware support" reminder. They even have a section
in their faq which defends the inclusion of proprietary components as needed
"to improve hardware capability"
