Greetings ladies and gentlemen.
I've recently bought a Seagate Expansion portable drive (1 TB) and I have
problems in choosing the correct file system and pastition ID. (Formating the
drive)
I've currently selected ID 83 (linux) and ext4. My system recognize the
device with no problem, but windows does not share the same fate. I've read
documentation that suggests to format it under ID NTFS but I know that it
belongs to Microsoft.
Do you know how to format an external hard drive (or a pendrive) in order to
work for unix-like, mac and windows?
