I would say you should go with the latest release - the 29th of June release.
It works fine on a Core 2 Quad PC and the i5 MacBook that I'm posting this from (in shame I must admit). Not sure about dual booting mind you since I simply demolished the OSX partition to get it on here. I would assume that it will work fine.
