The BBC has changed the way it works and so get_iplayer no longer works as it  
used to. (The BBC - making stuff with public money and then making it hard to  
get).
The only method that now works (as far as I know) is to get the program to  
load in the browser and then copy the program ID from the address bar.

Example command: get_iplayer --pid=b04wzt43 --type=radio
This will pull down the program with the PID b04wzt43.
