If you are asking about the provider I found, I'm thinking about taking their  
shared hosting service, not VPS. It means I will not be able to choose an  
operating system. I'm not sure what their servers run but I think it may be  
some form of BSD. Even if they run GNU/Linux, it most likely would be a  
distribution with non-free elements.

I am not going to use a webmail, so having to use an e-mail client is  
something that I would do anyway.
