But with Trisquel 7.0, any CD/DVD inserted in the drive goes undetected. This is the same case even if I go via Main Menu -> Places, where a USB flash drive is detectable.
Mine is a fresh install of Trisquel 7.0, and this is an urgent requirement.
For me, Trisquel 6.0 detected any CD/DVD in the drive, whether or not it is
blank.
