All the basic features are there in these free video editors, they are a  
little unstable and do have the occasional issue when outputting the end  
video file but for the most part they are really usable and very cool  
programs.

Unfortunately these creative programs are some of the weaker areas in the  
free software field in terms of functionality but it is rapidly catching up.  
Unless you have to do some crazy multi-shot/CGI effect layering/complex  
colour balancing then you should be perfectly fine.
