Specifically, the relevant quantity is the average power consumption with the intended workload; in order to determine it, one must make the computer run that workload and measure the power consumption. The quantity with units of power in the labels of computer power supplies is usually the maximum power they can deliver under with all rails loaded to the maximum, and it is not representative of the average power consumption under any particular conditions.

In other words, using the power rating of the computer is not adequate for this purpose.
