If you're having difficulties compiling a program it would be helpful to provide details of the exact nature of that problem. In particular, the output of the terminal. (And more than just the last line that might end with "Error 2" or some such thing because the actual relevant information is usually at least a few lines before that.) Also, contacting the project that writes that software for assistance can be helpful too. Just sayin' that there isn't just one direction to attack a problem from. ;)
