Thanks for the help, but I'm ashamed to admit the problem was partly user  
error. Be default, Trisquel 7 supports a two-finger scroll style I'm not used  
to. The command you gave me changed that back to the 'one-finger on the  
right-hand edge of the scroll bar' scroll style I was used to on 6. Now that  
I'm remember to use the two-finger scroll, I'm fine :)
