It probably requires old versions of the dependencies. That is not to say it  
won't work with the newer ones, but that it might cause unforeseen problems.  
You should definitely check you have them all though, and of course keep  
trying, as it may not always work the first time.
What features did cssed offer that you liked? Are you sure you could not find  
other CSS editors in the repositories?
