As far as I know, clamav takes care **only** of windows malware and in its virus database there is no single one GNU/linux malware.. There is no need for antivirus. Just don't install random and not trusted .debs and you'll be fine. Browser exploits, on the other side are cross-platform and that is what you need to (or not) worry about. Secure your browser and be happy. Installing noscript and setting it properly is an excellent start :)
