I would assume that all X86 systems since 2013 are backdoored and since 2009  
for Intel specifically.

If your concerned about government-level adversaries go buy a system from  
https://minifree.org/ as they're definitely better from a security  
standpoint. There will hopefully be something better than these shortly- but  
we'll see. There is going to have to be a funding campaign to raise the  
amounts needed for manufacture. I think the first run will be in the realm of  
250 - 500 units.
