Im using a Lenovo Thinkpad W541 that i bought custom installed with Trisquel.  
They disabled teh internal wifi on it because it requires non-free software.  
I thought of opening the laptop up and finding the USB header and just  
putting the dongle inside the laptop, taping it on something :) Crude, but  
something I may do. Right now, i'm pretty happy with the profile of the  
dongle though. Seems to be less than 1 inch. My previous one was enormous.
