If you want cameras you are probably better off using external ones like say  
from thinkpenguin maybe?

Although, I am not sure if the webcam on those devices can run with free  
software alone. IT is highly possible due to how old they are.

Ask around and then if you think it is safe do so otherwise I would hesitate  
strongly...
