I really think the burden should be on the developers, sellers, bundlers, and  
users of proprietary software, formats, and DRM to justify their imposition  
of encumbrances on others, NOT on everyone else to justify ourselves.  So the  
proper response to the question above is to immediately ask why the person  
didn't "just" use free software and/or a non-DRM'd file, instead of imposing  
unjust restrictions and hassles on other people.
