You are correct, and i am aware of that ;-) https://trisquel.info/fr/issues/20634You could add Icedove or .deb packages that are not installable (dependancies) on Trisquel 7 like the recently mentioned Rings.
Trisquel 8 Beta with more recent software has been released, we should encourage new users try it out.
