Again: the model does not matter.  What matters is the chipset.  A same model  
can have different chipsets along its market life.  And, again, either you  
take a card from http://libre.thinkpenguin.com or http://tehnoetic.com and  
you can be sure it will work or you bet that the chipset of some model has  
not changed since some has written (on http://h-node.org or elsewhere) that  
it was working on a 100%-free GNU/Linux system.
