That's not an answer to the question.

NoScript recently got (hastily) re-written to use WebExtensions, since that's the only API Firefox supports now. I assume the WebExtensions API NoScript now uses just isn't compatible with versions of Firefox prior to 56; LibreJS had the same problem. So you'll have to get the old version of NoScript:
