[Trisquel-users] What to do with the software when you replace the harddisk?

Dear Trisquel users,
Suppose you want to replace your harddisk in your laptop, then what do you do  
with the software?
I've found instructions on how to replace the internal harddisk and bought a  
replacing SATA harddisk.
I will make a back-up of my data before.
But since the operating system (Trisquel) is also on the internal harddisk,  
nothing is going to work after I insert a new harddisk drive.
My laptop has a working cd/dvd drive and I'm running Libreboot / Trisquel 7.
