So as far as they're concerned it's not a problem at their end, but something unusual going on in my Trisquel system. I'd really like to figure out what's happening and how to fix it properly, as it may lead to other issues down the line. Of course, I could also spend that time doing a fresh install on a separate partition and try out Trisquel 9 ...
