Adrien, It is not directly possible to write an IF THEN ELSE statement in an equation window. However, using the boolean functions that are available, it is often possible to write the equivalent of an IF / THEN / ELSE statement. For example, if you write the equation:
HotInside = GT(Tint,Text) then HotInside will have a value of 1 when Tint > Text and will have a value of 0 otherwise. The variable HotInside can then be used as a multiplier to activate or deactivate other equations. If you can send me the rest of the logic that you want to perform when Tint > Text, I would be happy to see if I can suggest a way of writing the equations. Kind regards, David At 04:47 12/18/2006, Adrien JEZEQUEL wrote: >Hi TRNSYS users, > >I'd like to know if it's possible to write things like /"If (Tint > >Text)..."/ in Equation window. > >Thanks for your help > >Best regards > >Adrien > > >-- > >****************************** >Adrien JEZEQUEL >ITF (Ingénierie Tous Fluides) >87, route de Chambéry >73230 ST ALBAN EN LEYSSE >Tél: 04.79.75.00.29 >site: www.itf.biz >Mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >_______________________________________________ >TRNSYS-users mailing list >TRNSYS-users@engr.wisc.edu >https://www.cae.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/trnsys-users **************************************************************************************** Thermal Energy System Specialists (TESS), LLC David BRADLEY 2916 Marketplace Drive - Suite 104 Partner Madison, WI 53719 Phone: (608) 274-2577 USA Fax: (608) 278-1475 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web Pages: http://www.tess-inc.com and http://www.trnsys.com "Providing software solutions for today's energy engineering projects" **************************************************************************************** _______________________________________________ TRNSYS-users mailing list TRNSYS-users@engr.wisc.edu https://www.cae.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/trnsys-users
