This is most probably true. The 'Handbook' basically starts someone
off from the very pit of a case and goes from there. There are basic
steps to handle the basic areas of one's life so that things from
that area are remedied and taken out of the way of one's progress and
one can then put more attention and intention into improving oneself.
Lock scanning, which is what the handbook is all about, has been more
workable for me than time breaking.
Lock scanning is a means to handle and eliminate the upper crust and
coverings that reside on top of one's case so that what lies
underneath is more readily available to be handled.
Furthermore, taking a bird on the wire viewpoint and doing it with
hindsight, even the hand book could be given more runway and that
runway
would consist of some "Self Analysis" style processing.

Sort of a mini SA to be a primer for the handbook for preclears,
then
get into TROM.

This applies to at least L2 and L3.

I haven't got enough understanding or rather more accurately, haven't
given L4 and L5 sufficient effort, consideration and evaluation
to make
any qualified or useful comment on them.
Just like doing the 'Handbook' and SA, once one has done those and
Levels 1 thru 3, then one would then again have more attention and
intention opened up so that one could do Levels 4 & 5. Those two
Levels also take education as to what they are really all about and
this is where Dennis fails dramatically in not going into what those
Levels are all about so that one has an idea of what is supposed to
happen, the how and why of it for those two Levels.
These subjects take a heck of a lot of work and time to develop.
LRH said it took him 20 yrs to come up with the Handbook for
Preclears.
I also think it would be the best idea possible, for everyone to
now go and
carefully reread every scn book to get full certainty on each and
everyone
of them.
There is much truth with LRH's writings through the period up to
1966. All the basics are there including that for OT Levels. Dennis
only skims very lightly over this area and certainly with not enough
data and depth for any understanding at all. One or two paragraphs
by Dennis is grossly insufficient. Just look at how much the 'Pilot'
wrote just to further expand on LRH's work.
I mean the basic texts. Not research volumes and such other data or
related data. I haven't read them either.
I have read everything published by Ron including the R&D's and every
page of the Tech Vols thru Vol 8. I have listened to over 700 of
Ron's audio lectures. Some of them 2-3 times and a particular set of
74 audio tapes over 100 times each.
As I have said in the past, I am a Class VI auditor and have
delivered over 400 hrs of Very Well Done auditing of every action
that a Class VI can deliver from the start of the process all the way
to the very End Phenomena for every action.
