Also Wyllys, just tried to apply your patches here to review them more closely, but they are not applying cleanly on the top of the latest CVS. Seems like a typical whitespace/tab issue (you mailer appears to be thunderbird which is notoriously error-prone when sending patches - specially if you're cutting and pasting from another editor).
