This is such a big problem that I would think a new release would be welcome. 
I am getting various reports of different applications having symbol 
collisions. Recently gnutls started linking against libtspi, so everything 
linking against gnutls now links against trousers, too. This will start 
happening on other distros as they update gnutls.
