I know these are very elementary questions, but I posted to blinux-newbie
and got absolutely no response. Hope somebody here can help. Am
inserting text of original email; have obviously joined this list since
that posting.
Sorry--I know this has been asked before but I didn't save the info and we
don't have the archives; tried looking in trplayer archives; haven't
joined that list yet. Also tried speakup archives--know it has to be
there but haven't found it. I am using zipspeak. My questions are as
follows: 1. How Do I install the rpm package of realplayer 7?
2. I understand I need the slang libraries. Do I need more than what
zipspeak has?
3. Can I go ahead and use the slackware package of trplayer, or am I
going to have extra problems with this since it's under development?
4. Once I get realplayer and trplayer installed (thinking
positively!), are there files telling me how to use this--for
instance, looking at cd clips on the Internet? If not, can
somebody give me instructions or tell me where to look. Thanks.
