I have implemented a status line in TRPlayer, as suggested by Dave
Mielke. It can be continuously displayed by including the -s option on
the TRPlayer command line, or you can request it at any time while compact
output mode is on with the s command.
To make it easy to test this new feature, I have just released a new
development version of TRPlayer in binary form, which you can get at:
ftp://linux-speakup.org/pub/linux/goodies/trplayer-20001021-dev.bin.tar.gz
And of course, you can get the source code from the CVS server.
