I just downloaded the realplay 8.0 installation from
http://proforma.real.com/real/player/unix/unix.html
What I got was a 5 mg executable file. Which I placed in a disposable
account and tried to execute. It didn't get very far... I got a message
saying 'cannot open display'. Needless to say it is never going to open a
display on my text based system.
Does anyone know of any alternate methods for installing realplayer 8.0
Can I get a tgz installation file anywhere? That's my preferred
method.
