trplayer still hanging

Hi all.  Still havent seen any comment on this one.  I notice if a site
can't be reached via player, everything sits there, with no way to exit
without killall dash 9 to kill the many trplayer  processes that have
built up in the background.  I guess I'm wondering isn't there a way for
it to be watching for input at all times, so that you can e to exit??
Just curious.
