We believe, we receive the Spirit, and victory over sin becomes a simply and complete reality. Wonderful mythology -- terrible theology because it leaves off growth, the need from continual confession and the continual flow of the blood of the Lamb.
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Being cleansed and delivered of sin is not the end of growth. It is the beginning of growth.
A light has no darkness in it whatsoever, but that light can shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.
Proverbs 4:18
(18) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Luke 11:34-36
(34) The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
(35) Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
(36) If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
1 John 3:5-7
(5) And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
(6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
(7) Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
