Judy, do you understand the diference between "being in love" and "acting like you are in love?"  Do you deny that people who are in love with Christ and have deep and abiding convictions regarding Him, and share the emotion of appreciation will want to do the Lord's will?  Seems pretty basic to me and nothing like the picture you paint above.  JD
 
The love you speak of sounds like philos JD whereas with Jesus we must deal with agape (the God kind of love).  This has nothing at all to do with "being in love" before there is even a relationship - the Church at present is "betrothed" and should be preparing to meet the Bridegroom.  Love in this sense is a committment to learning about the One to whom we have committed our lives and our selves.  judyt
