Hi David,

The problem I have with the Logos-but-not-yet-a-Son view is that the term
"Logos" in itself is non-descriptive of the eternal relationship within
which the second person of the Godhead participated with his "Father"
throughout eternity --  the term "Son" is descriptive of that relationship;
this because it is a familial/relational term. Read the NT with a non-non
sequitur :>) view of the Father/Son language (i.e., allow the Son to be the
Son eternal) and you will receive with it a view into the inner being of
God, the God who is as he has always been in his inner relations, the God
who from eternity past has purposed to include you in that which he has
always enjoyed with his Son.

Bill
