"the Bible contains the Word of God "

Chapter & verse?

Since it "contains" the word of god it is probably hidden in there somewhere, so I will understand if you can't find the portion that teaches it only "contains" the word of God.

I believe the written Word as scripture is just one form of THE WORD of God.
It cannot be brushed aside as less than that IMO. izzy

Jesus is the Word but Jesus is not the TEXT. Scripture is a subset of the
Word. The script can be considered secondary to the Logos himself because
the world is not big enough to contain all the texts that could be written
about Him. None of this is meant to undermine the authority of Scripture.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
