I've met far more competent women than men throughout my life. One of the church's traditions (NOT the Bible's teaching) that was, is and will be wrong is that which asks women to play second fiddle to men.  How encouraging it is to see  David Miller supporting Christine as she pursues post-secondary studies. Every woman should be prepared to be self sustaining as there are more of us who are jerks than not. It's always been in place. The problem was, is and, will be the law of WOMANogamy? Chauvinism, sexism and the like have prevailed, do prevail and, sadly, will prevail amongst so-called 'believers' of all stripes.
