Jesus Himself has some input on this subject - Are you interested in hearing what He has to say???

"If you abide in My word (hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them), you are truly my disciples,
and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free" (Jn 8:31,32 Ampl)

I hope noone needs to point out that His teachings will not be found at the local Moose Club... or in Barths
Dogmatics.

It is the Jesus that gives life to the "new man" and brings life to those who give Him honor and place in their lives.    Lance mentioned something to the effect that we do not understand THOROUGHLY.   If we can all accept that bit of profundity,  we then, can understand why there are differences of opinion about who He is and associated concerns and yet serve the same Jesus.  jd

And which Jesus is this?
The Mormon Jesus?
Jesus God's Word?
The "incarnational" Jesus?

I shall venture an answer and, would like to hear from all on this. JESUS IS THE STANDARD/PLUMBLINE. To the extent that HE is misrepresented via anything then, to that extent what is said as truth is less than the truth.
