There are NO opposing opinions within scripture because Christ is not divided ...
The opposers are those who reject the "clear Word of Truth"
Jesus the chief peacemaker and "Prince of Peace" they tried to stone, push off a cliff
and finally crucified... when He was ready to lay down his life.      jt
 
 
And yet,   Matt 5:9 remains relevant to the discussion while completely ignored by the author, above.   Why?

Christianity is not a polite Debate society with all creeds given equal sway. Christianity is not concerned with egalitarian exchage of ideas with worldviews that are in error.. Christianity is not a hugfest
The Bible uses Military imagery, when talking of the "good Fight of faith"!
