I was unable to use serial ports in TSL 3.0 (the same machine working
fine with TSL 2.2 two days ago !!).
Even the minicom program answers me when invoked:
Device /dev/ttyS0 lock failed: No child processes.
I need to attach very simple barcode readers to the standard serial
ports. It was working with perl and Device::Serialport, I was thinking
in some perl problems, but when even minicom (from the TSL 2.2 contrib
with the lockdev and lockdev-devel rpm's from the same version).
