I was trying to update my KDE install from 3.0 to 3.0.2 this week using pkg_add (the BSD equivalent of rpm) and hosed my KDE. This weekend I think instead of compiling OpenOffice, I'm going to try compiling KDE. Anybody interested in seeing the process/helping me not lose my mind in the process is more than welcome to drop by and visit me. Give me a call at 785-5006 if interested, or backchannel me. Advance notice required for visitors, my room is a mess.
