Good call Rodney.

Comments should cover all of the major turbine family of projects:
- turbine-2
- turbine-3
- torque
- fulcrum

I personally am interested in learning more about OJB, Plexus, Summit, etc.,
but for the foreseeable future I will be sticking with turbine-2, most
likely with Henning's security service.

Note to Rodney: turbine-3 uses fulcrum. Henning offered a while back to
make his employers cvs repository containing a more fully developed version
of his security service proposal and other enhancements to intake available
for read-only access. In my opinion the best way to move turbine 2.x
forward will be to adopt the fulcrum security service with the updated code
from Henning (I will mail him directly if necessary). If there is going to
be a further turbine 2.x release after 2.2 I would try and steer it in the
direction of fulcrum or whatever the powers that be deem to be the
replacement - i.e. further information should be sought before heading into
a full on turbine 2.x implementation.

I would also like the committers to consider inviting a few of the more
active contributors to become committers. If it is not obvious who they are
then ask for volunteers.

Cheers,

Scott
