Hi James,

My name is Lee Parayno, and I am the Manager of
Applications Development at IFILM.com. We have been
using JCS on our live web application servers, through
its integration into Hibernate.

Because of the traffic demands placed on our site,
we've had to take issues of cache hit ratios and cache
concurrency in a clustered environment very seriously.

We started experimenting with JCS's Lateral TCP Cache,
however we had issues with its implementation--due to
the number of open TCP connections required between
boxes.

Recently, we have begun to expand our use of other
features of JCS by working on an implementation of a
Remote Cache Server within our application
infrastructure. As part of our integration, we've
worked through various issues with the existing code
surrounding Remote Cache, and its relationship with
the Composite Cache engine. From our experiences, we
realize that we would like to become active
contributors to the JCS project as well.

I would like to volunteer my time to aid in any
testing/review and investigation of the various
aspects of JCS. Because of our vested interest, as
well as the promise that the JCS project offers--we
would like to help the project move forward.

James, please let me know how we may be of service.

Lee Parayno
