All it means is that it will not try to get from any other lateral caches. It can still receive and send, but not get.

Next I started client 1, connected to cache 1, that did a put() operation in an infinite loop after sleeping it for some time. After that client 2 started receiving the cached object. The scenario 1 and scenario 2 were repeated if I set PutOnlyMode set to false. viz. jcs.auxiliary.LTCP.attributes.PutOnlyMode=false.
