Unfortunately I only have experience with the indexed disk and lateral caches (TCP, javagroups), or I would try to help you out.
Also, I am not using the memory shrinker, only because I have not had time to test it. As far as you earlier maturity question, I can only vouch for the pieces I am using, but they all seem to be working well enough in production. Sorry!
